At Queen of Peace Monuments, we have worked tirelessly to provide the best possible monuments, and have formed many relationships with cemeteries over the years. Located in Uniondale and operated by the Town of Hempstead, Greenfield Cemetery is an outstanding resting place for your loved one.
About Greenfield Cemetery
Established in 1870, Greenfield Cemetery has been a fixture in the community ever since. This idyllic cemetery will provide an ideal resting place for your loved one. With town-funded maintenance, your loved one’s burial site will be well-maintained. This includes lawn cutting, shrub and hedge trimming, and more. This burial site spans approximately 158 acres, with trees to provide shade coverage from the sun distributed throughout the property.
The staff at Greenfield Cemetery are committed to ensuring that all burials are smooth and respectful. They will ensure that they can provide any assistance that might be necessary.
As a public cemetery, there are no religious restrictions. People who follow any faith may be buried in Greenfield Cemetery.
Greenfield Cemetery is owned and maintained by the Town of Hempstead. These burial plots are reserved for town resident purchase only. Because it is operated by the town, Greenfield Cemetery follows town ordinances when allocating burial plots. In order to make burial arrangements for a family member or loved one, you must contact the Town of Hempstead office.
Because of maintenance procedures, the staff at Greenfield Cemetery does not permit loved ones to leave flowers, or other grave decorations.
